How did Kayley get involved in modeling and acting locally?
Mr./Mrs. Stallings: We saw one of the Pro-Model and Talent Management (PMTM) model search flyers at the Columbus Zoo. Kayley already attracted a lot of attention in dance and gymnastics, so we decided to call and find out more information.

Did Kayley like Barbizon of Akron?
Mr./Mrs. Stallings: She loved it and we were very pleased with the program as well!

From a parents' perspective did you feel the classes benefitted her?
Mr./Mrs. Stallings: Yes! The classes taught her how to carry herself with confidence and provided her the foundation necessary to pursue the model and talent industry.

How old was Kayley when she attended classes, and do you feel she was at a good age to start?
Mr./Mrs. Stallings: Kayley was 6 years old when she started, and it was the perfect age to get her involved. Whether a person is age 6 or 60, if it is her dream to get involved in the model and talent industry Pro-Model and Talent and Barbizon of Akron is the best place to start.

Is Kayley still in classes? If so which ones?
Mr./Mrs. Stallings: Like most child actors, she takes weekly acting classes and does private coaching sessions that keep her competitive within the market.

What is Kayley doing now?
Mr./Mrs. Stallings: Right now, Kayley is acting, singing, and doing a small amount of theater. Kayley recently booked a national McDonald's commercial and has also done national commercials for Skippy Peanut Butter, Daisy Sour Cream, AT&T, WalMart, and has appeared on the very popular television show, “Monk”.

Do you feel the training at Barbizon of Akron has benefited her?
Mr./Mrs. Stallings: Yes. It was her first step, and it proved to all of us she loved the talent industry and it was something that she wanted to do.

From a parents' perspective would you recommend Barbizon of Akron to others?
Mr./Mrs. Stallings: Yes! Barbizon of Akron is a great first step into the modeling/entertainment industry. The skills Kayley learned will benefit her for the rest of her life.

Did people tell you that training is not needed to obtain success in the industry? If so, what are your feelings about that?
Mr./Mrs. Stallings: Yes, many people told us they thought that we should not put Kayley into training or classes. They thought training was not necessary.    Now, as a result of her experience and the training Kayley received (and is still receiving) she is in several national commercials, has been on TV, and is set-up to do huge things in Hollywood. Thank goodness we did not listen to those people and went with our gut feeling. Without the training Kayley would not be landing the modeling and acting jobs she is. Someone without training simply cannot compete against our daughter.

Any other advice you could give to parents considering Barbizon of Akron?
Mr./Mrs. Stallings: Go for it! We did and it was life changing. We are living what some people only dream of. Pro-Model and Talent was able to help move Kayley into the national market.

Did Kayley do any local work with Pro-Model and Talent Management?
Mr./Mrs. Stallings: Kayley graduated from the Barbizon of Akron program and then immediately began to pursue the national/international market with Pro- Model and Talent Management.  She had one audition locally, then was off to New York City, followed by Los Angeles. We really did not stay in Ohio long enough to work with Pro-Model and Talent Management. Our goal and Kayley’s was to work in a major market and that is what she is doing! The training Kayley received set her on the right path. If we stayed in Ohio we would have worked very closely with Pro-Model and Talent Management.  Our goal was to use Pro-Model and Talent as a stepping stone to Los Angeles, and that’s exactly what happened.
